           Try to characterize the type of person you would be interested
                in meeting.
                Seeking an attractive, educated, physically fit girl - chemistry
                is important. I'm looking for someone interested in personal
                growth, who is mature and responsible, with self-esteem and a
                positive outlook.
       What personal habits of others really irritate you?
                Smoking is definitely not a plus. I look for common courtesy in everyone.
What would you like to do on a first date? Where would you like to go?
A quiet street cafe or coffee shop mid-morning for coffee or early evening for drinks.
Where have you met most of your current friends?
Primarily through civic organizations or co-workers.
Describe your personality.
Friendly, courteous, easy going, very social. I like team work.

Volleyball, Running, Hiking, Skiing... Anything in the wilderness, Lounging on

A little of everything. I haven't been to all that many concerts, but I do
always look for an excuse to go! Jimmy Buffett, Eagles, Alabama, Elton John,
Indigo Girls, Kansas, Rod Steward, Pearl Jam....
What type of work do you do and are you enjoying it? For how long?
Industrial Engineer at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth,
                Va since Jan 89. I've worked directly with various production
                shops over the last 10 years (machinists, pipefitters, blasters
                and painters), as well as our headquarters in Crystal City on
                numerous and varied process improvement related projects.
                I also have a real estate investment business.
                When you were a child what did you hope you would grow up to be?
                Always liked the outdoors - Oceanography or Forestry / Wetlands
                Management.
           Favorite pastime? Hobby? Diversion? Just what goes on Sundays at
              your place?
                Canoeing, backpacking, skiing, running, volleyball. Weekends are
                too short and life is far to complex most days... I stay busy
                most weekends with personal (real life) projects and hanging
                around with my friends. My friends and family are most important
                to me.
           Have you ever accomplished anything that got your name on
              television, radio, in a magazine or newspaper? What was it you
              did?
                I'm sure I have, but does anyone really care... except for my
                mom?
                Which sports do you enjoy participating in or watching?
                Running or volleyball. I enjoy Olympic events. I like watching
                sports with friends. Ice hockey is fun.

                NPR and Becky "Butler" on Eagle 97 (she's a sweetheart)

                I would choose to be "invisible". It would come in handy.
